Spirit of Spirit contest entry

This is my entry to the Spirit of Spirit club contest, May!

To draw Spirit and Rains daughter/son grown up, with their mate. ^^

So this is Jumping Thunder, Spirit and Rains Son, with his mate, Andante, which, in the music world, means "Walking pace" which is exactly like Andante, she takes everything at a walking pace, while Jumping Thunder is like his father, full of Spirit and can't stop galloping!
But they are a perfect macth, and very comfortably together, with Spirit and Rains blessing.

Thunder and Andante were members of different herds, but the herds were close to each other, and would warn each other of dangers. Just like Thunder, Andantes father was the leader of his herd. And they met after the two leaders came together to clarify their bonds of friendship and loyalty. Thunder fell for the beautiful filly instantly, but Andante needed persuasion, as he was a little too full of energy for her gentle spirit. So, almost every day Thunder would gallop to the other herd and play games and races with Andante. She warmed to him and ended up loving the adventurous young colt. But then after a violent Mountain lion attack on Andantes father, he was left half dead, Spirit tried to help him, but it was to late, he died, and the herds were merged as one. And so, Jumping Thunder and Andante were brought together and stayed together ever since. And thats their story!

Jumping Thunder is a very old character of mine, he was the main character of an old story of mine called "Stallion of Storms" and in that story he was pure white! This was before Spirit came out. Then after the release of Spirit I turned him into Spirits son, and changed his colours, they weren't exactly like they are now, I decided I didn't like them so I changed them, and here he is with his new design! He has Spirits body colour, but a little darker, and he should have a cream mane and tail like Rain, but it became yellow. ^^ lol. he has blue eyes like Rain and stockings like Spirit, with a white lighteneing shaped stocking. Then he has some random white patches, the one on his body is like a river.
Then Andante is based on another character in my book who was grey with a white mane and tail. ^^
